After a LONG TIME without updates, SSR is back into full swing, with its annual radio marathon. Spanning across 24 glorious hours, Project 24 has had an amazing history dating back to 2009, featuring SSR DJ’s new and old. Yes thats right, for one day/night you’ll get to listen to the sensual voices of radio presenters of the past, such as the ever so smooth IceMan and the ever so rough Roarey Raccoon! You’ll also get to win PRIZES! THATS RIGHT PRIZES!

Details will be coming soon as to who will be on when, and what you can win, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!

My apologies that this update took so long. But I am proud to announce….that nine months later…..The cdrom special cdrom1019′s Colorful New Year is now available for download in the media archive. Check the specials folder in the Talk It Up! section. This download only contains part one of the podcast, the story book like telling of Sonic Colors. Greetings music lovers!
My thanks go out to all that were present at my latest, 3 hour, cdrom1019 special. I had a blast with Sonic’s 20th Birthday Bash and I am pleased to say that the special is now available for download in the specials folder of the Talk It Up! section of the SSR media archive at media.sonicstadium.org.  I hope you all enjoyed Sonic’s birthday and for those of you that attended, had a great time at summer of Sonic. For those new to the show, Blitz & Pieces follows the hopeless spontanuity of BlitzChris and RichoKidd as they dive through the world of Sonic Remixes. 2011 is finally upon us. Many of us have already expressed that we think 2011, Sonic’s 20th year, will be his best year yet! Well shall we test that theory?

Create me a new opening for Season 2 of Talk It Up!  it can be as chill or sporadic as you want.  Here’s the conditions

It needs to be put to a song from this era of sonic games (sonic adventure 1 and up). It must be a mash up opening, as in listen to my previous episodes, and take different bits and pieces from my shows (specifically me speaking) and mash them together. If you need me to record the lines in the current opening for you, then ask me. You have one lifeline. You can ask me to record one line for you that I have never said before or if you need me to say something a different way. You only get me to say something different once.  No profanity! To the winner goes…A choice of 1 of the following:

Sonic Colors! (no…I’m not kidding)  You have the choice of either Sonic Colors Wii (NTSC ONLY  sorry guys)  Or Sonic Colors DS.

Thats Right! Back by popular demand, November 21st will host this years Project 24 LiveCast. If you’re not familiar with the concept, let me jog your brain.

Project24 started in 2009 as an attempt to get SSR’s name out onto the internet. For a whole 24 hour, SSR DJ’s entertained the public with all the latest news and updates in and around the sonic community. It was more popular than expected, with some shows recieving up to 5x the number of listeners than usual.

The same goes for this year. From 12pm GMT on Sunday, December 5th you’ll have LIVE DJ ACTION, whether it be from the likes of T-Bird, AAUK, DreadKnux or one of the other many great SSR shows! And thats not the best part! Did we mention Prizes?

During the 24 hours we’ll have sonic related prizes to give away including:

4x Sonic Branded DS Stylus Kits

2x Sonic Branded DS Stylus & Carry Packs

1x Sonic Branded Wii Induction 2pc charging dock

Right people you guys are lucky……cause you probably didn’t have any internet problems on Friday night. Well as a result of BT’s shoddy maintenance on their lines TDL on Friday night was canceled. BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS. In light of what happened I am going to make it up to you all but doing a special show tonight at the regular time slot. So be sure to be tuned in at 8 PM UK Time tonight to get all the latest reactions to all of this past weeks Sonic News, more First Impressions of the latest stuff that was released and of course the Sonic Songs you want to hear. All on Turbo Drive Live tonight for a Saturday Special. But don’t forget to catch the show normally on Fridays at 8 PM UK Time and catching the replays in podcast form in the media portal under the TDL Next-Gen Podcast folder.

So after a long while of not uploading any previous shows and after a little prodding of the stick from SSR head Blitzchris I am here announcing as of tonight TDL shows will be uploaded for repeat for people to listen too again in the form of TDL NGP (I like to shorten words down don’t I? ) that means episodes are not numbered but are dated so you know when each one was done.

So enjoy this return to form with the first TDL show after Summer of Sonic 2010 and my thoughts of the event as a whole plus TFI has one of the three Sonic games that were showcased at SoS 2010 have a guess at which one I got to play and listen what I had to say.

Turbo Drive Live 13.08.10

Ok guys,  simply put, I’m damn tired of being damn tired. With everything that’s going on lately. I keep waking up late in the morning thinking ‘OH CRAP! I have a show to do!” without my co-host being ready to do it or without me being prepared.   Talk It Up! needs to find a new time slot. I can’t do it on mondays anymore due to my work schedule. It will most likely be wednesday.  So I’m calling this now. Next Wednesday will be the 2 hour season finale of Talk It Up!  I’ll be taking a while away from the airwaves to finish my class, which will take a little bit of stress away, and then I should be a bit more stabilized with my job….I’m sorry that I keep pushing my show back, then waking up too tired to do it. It shouldn’t be like this. So something must be done. I am in no way leaving SSR and will occasionally do some totally unplanned randomness. So be ready
